The following painting was based on a memory my father had, of my grandfather's story; of a childhood adventure as a stowaway on a sailship, enroute to Alaska. This painting was given to my Grandfather, and since his passing away, the whereabouts of this painting is unknown.

This painting was based on a family's trial. I came to a scripture, not knowing what was to come a few months later, I held on to that scripture with a significance. Three months later, then the trial: Inspiration for this picture came during the moment of 'feeling' hope and faith, hence, reference was then made known to the scripture previously received. This is owned by Priscilla Chavez whom overcame such trial and our family witnessed a 'Miracle' of life.
